| Many stored product insects are showing signs of
resistance to phosphine fumigants, especially Lesser grain borer (Rhyzopertha
dominica). We have found that ProFume® treatments are highly
effective in controlling all life stages of all typical stored
product pests. The key to grain fumigation using ProFume* is
proper recirculation and monitoring of gas concentrations throughout
the grain mass. |
 |
| This picture shows how extensive the
recirculation system can be in a flat storage warehouse. |
 |
| This is the "command center" for this warehouse
treatment. This is the location where the fumigant is injected
from, and the Fumiscope monitoring location. Monitoring of gas
concentrations is extremely critical for an effective fumigation.
Inputting the monitoring information into the ProFume* FumiGuide
software program enables the fumigator to precisely dose the
warehouse. |

| This is a corn bunker fumigation located in the
Mid-West. The size of the bunker is approximately 1 million
bushels, and was successfully treated with ProFume* within a 24 hour
period! This grain company was pressed to begin shipping, and
wanted a quick turnaround treatment. This corn was highly infested
with many different species of stored product insects. |

recirculation tubing and fans. |
 |
| Monitoring with a Fumiscope is extremely
important in order to perform a successful treatment. |
 |
| Grain bins are treated with ProFume* regularly
throughout California. |
